FY2017 Form 470 Filing Guide

Are you ready to start the competitive bidding process for your FY2017 E-rate services? Here is a Form 470 Filing Guide that shows each step of the form. A couple things to remember about the Form 470:
A Form 470 is only required for new contracts. You do not need to post a new Form 470 if you are currently in a multi-year contract that was competitively bid in a previous funding year with a Form 470.
Your Form 470 must be posted in EPC for at least 28 days before you can evaluate bids and award a contract. As you make plans for the upcoming funding year, make sure to give yourself enough time for your Form 470 to be posted for at least 28 days, get a signed contract and file your Form 471 application before the filing window closes. The FY2017 Form 471 Filing Window dates have not yet been announced. We do know that the window will open no earlier than February 2, 2017 and will close no earlier than March 31, 2017. We will send out an email as soon as the official dates of the FY2017 Form 471 Filing Window are announced.
